Sometimes in this business you get a job that seem less like work and more like fun. This was one of those jobs. In honor of today’s Indy500, here are two videos I edited at Suite Spot for the IndyCar series team Schmidt Peterson Motorsports called Inside the Indy Challenge.
My friends over at Mizaplas brought me in to edit a video to launch their new app, Daily Specials.
Working with Suite Spot, I edited a video of the adidas Energy Boost launch while the event was happening. It was fun and a quick turnaround, we posted 4 hours after the event finished.
A little over a month ago Sara Jenkins’ Tuscan cooking app, that included videos I edited, launched. The Journal recently took it for a test drive and seemed to like it!

Shohei Shigematsu is Director of North America for the iconic architecture firm OMA. In this profile piece for CraneTV, Mr. Shigematsu gives me a tour of OMA’s New York office and discusses the thought process behind his work.
I can’t get enough of this old :15 commercial from Nike.
The digital production company Mizaplas is producing a new line of beautifully designed cooking apps. The first, Sara Jenkins’ New Italian Pantry, launched this week. I was brought onboard to edit videos that take you through the items every simple Tuscan pantry should contain.
Check out the reviews by The Kitchn, Bon Appetit and Grub Street.

THE AFGHAN PROJECT
A DOCUMENTARY SCREENING
FEATURING LIVE Q&A WITH THE DIRECTOR
Tuesday, October 4
Thor Neureiter, Columbia Journalism M.A. ’11 and Emmy–award winning
filmmaker, will screen his master’s thesis film “The Afghan Project,”
shot in Kabul. The Afghan people and the nation’s economy stand to
benefit from tapping into the country’s wealth of untapped mineral
resources. Thor examines how this nation, struggling with 30
years of strife, war, and disarray, could get from here to there.
We look forward to seeing you there!
